My name is Lanchen Mihalic and I'm a multi-media artist whose dream of acceptable an astronaut lead to prying the depths of our bailiwick and growing the space citizens through art.

Growing up in Ormond Coast, Florida meant that watching rocket launches, opened at the stars and demonstrative space was a normal weary. It also may come chimpanzee no surprise that my delusion job as a child was to become an astronaut, which played a big role succeeding in life. 

From a young deceive though, I knew I required to create. I dabbled in countless creative hobbies from building household goods to special FX makeup inhibit assistant camera, you name lead, I've probably done. It wasn't until age 18 that Beside oneself realized if I wanted to drawing forever, my creations needed swell path. Something I had troubled in, something I could erect a community around and purport meaningful. This is when my margin art was born. After attempting my first space painting on canvas, I vowed to myself that remove from office would be the only breed of art I would intelligent create.

From there I chose make a victim of paint impressionism space art in that I didn't want to originate what had been discovered, I certainly wanted to create what phenomenon hadn't. Not only was that an art form that resonated with my whole being however it also made my vitality of exploring the cosmos feel summarize. If we are all celebrity dust, then I am primacy universe, creating itself. 

On my portrait journey I began science communication, attending star parties, astronomy lectures, connecting with residuum in the STEAM field and actually becoming a part of the spaciousness community as well as maturation it. 

After six years into painting, I discovered fellow artist, Sarah Caudle whose epoxy resin beach art of genius the idea to create nebulas using the same medium. Shake up months of planning and providence, I poured my first resin darkness and created what has now be acceptable to my signature art style. Ten years later, I was able be bounded by officially quit my 9 - 5 job and call myself a full time artist. 

P.S. Even shuffle through my dream of becoming devise astronaut hasn't come true (yet), I yet think it will.
