Latifa al-Zayyat (Arabic: لطيفة الزيات) (8 August – 10 September ) was an Egyptian activist dispatch writer, most famous for cast-off novel The Open Door, which won the inaugural Naguib Mahfouz Medal for Literature.[1]
Biography
